Duration and Structure

The M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics at Global College of Pharmaceutical Technology (GCPT), affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, is a rigorous 2-year program structured into 4 semesters. This comprehensive course is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutics, preparing them for high-level roles in pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree:Completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institute or university, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
  • Provisional Eligibility:Students who are currently in their final year of B.Pharm can apply on a provisional basis.
  • Academic Performance:A minimum aggregate of 50% in the undergraduate degree is required for admission.

Admission Requirements

Applicants can enhance their application by submitting scores from one or more of the following entrance exams:

  • WBUT PGET:West Bengal University of Technology Postgraduate Entrance Test
  • GPAT:Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test
  • CEE AMPAI Masters:Common Entrance Examination for Admission to Postgraduate Programs in Allied Health Sciences
  • GATE:Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
